The duo, adamant officers are among the eight accused of colluding with land fraudsters causing havoc in Machakos County.
Interior ministry had informed Police Inspector General Japheth Koome about the role of eight top officers who colluded with land fraudsters in the area.
Six of the officers were eventually transferred from the area but the two have blatantly refused to leave, triggering speculations on whether they are enjoying protection ‘’from above’’.
The two officers are said to be powerful.
It has emerged that the rogue officers are not among those who were summoned by the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to record statements, over the sensitive matter.
