List of 17 CEOs defiant against Ruto PayBill order

The state has identified 17 sluggish agencies that are yet to comply with President William Ruto`s directive for all government online services to be paid through a PayBill number 222222.
The Secretary to the Cabinet Mercy Wanjau, who chairs the eCitizen Implementation Committee said Principal Secretaries (PS) for State Departments under which the agencies fall, CEOs and Board chairpersons have been summoned for a meeting on Tuesday, November 14.

President Ruto had directed all State agencies to migrate their services online and to use 222222 as the official PayBill but Wanjau noted that some top officials at the mentioned agencies were out to frustrate the move by maintaining separate bank accounts and advertising unofficial payment channels.
